Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi stated that the province is at the forefront of the battle against terrorism, and the peace in other regions is a result of its sacrifices.

In a video message following the blast and terrorist attack at Kohat Old Police Lines, Afridi condemned the incident, expressing grief for the martyrs, both police personnel and civilians. He emphasized that:

"We once again convey a message to the entire country, especially those who label the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as terrorists, that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have offered over 80,000 lives for Pakistan. Only then did peace come to Pakistan."

Afridi highlighted the sacrifices made by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, emphasizing that their efforts have secured peace in the rest of the country. He promised to thwart any conspiracy aimed at dividing the nation.

He criticized a statement made by what he called the "fake chief minister of the largest province," noting that such remarks disregard the province's sacrifices. He stressed the patriotism of the other provinces, stating, "They sacrificed for Pakistan, are sacrificing, and will continue to do so."

In conclusion, Afridi assured that Pakistan will remain strong and that the sacrifices made by the people will forever be for the country.
