We Fear Neither Imran Khan Nor Hulagu Khan, Says Rana Sanaullah

Bangladesh and Nepal are one nation and one country, while Pakistan is a federation with no ‘cockroaches’, says federal adviser Rana Sanaullah.

Prime Minister’s Adviser and senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Rana Sanaullah has stated that they fear neither Imran Khan nor Hulagu Khan, adding that they are not made from the soil of fear.
He clarified that Bangladesh and Nepal are fundamentally one nation and one country, whereas Pakistan is a strong and proper federation. He affirmed there are no ‘cockroaches’ in Pakistan and none would emerge from here. If any minor ‘cockroach’ does appear, it will be crushed firmly.
When asked by analyst Irshad Bhatti about facing consequences of actions, Rana Sanaullah replied, “We are neither making anyone face anything at present, nor will we face anything ourselves in the future. Whatever is happening in the country is all from God, and He is running the system of everything.”
Regarding Imran Khan, he stated:
"Whether it is Imran Khan or Hulagu Khan, we have no fear or dread of anyone because the soil from which we were made contains no element of fear."
Bhatti responded sarcastically, noting that if "we" referred only to Rana Sanaullah himself, it was fine, but looking beyond him raised many questions. Rana Sanaullah clarified that those ahead also placed complete trust in Allah.
He further revealed that President Asif Ali Zardari had recommended Mohsin Naqvi’s appointment as Federal Interior Minister. According to Rana Sanaullah, the government wanted to maintain cordial and improved political relations with Zardari at the time. Therefore, Mohsin Naqvi was appointed to meet this political need and sustain those relations. He added that if merit and the system had been followed completely in the country, Mohsin Naqvi would never have reached important positions such as senator, Pakistan Cricket Board chairman, and Federal Interior Minister simultaneously.
