The state has been completely taken over by capitalists and has become a ruling club of the elite, comprising generals, politicians, bureaucrats, media tycoons, and religious scholars, according to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) central leader Nadeem Afzal Chan.

Speaking at a ceremony, he argued that the state is now completely trapped by this few capitalists. He expressed agreement with Muhammad Ali Durrani's view that treason cases should be filed under Article 6 of the Constitution against all former and current cabinets, beginning with Field Marshal Ayub Khan’s era.

Afzal Chan stated that Bhutto’s family had already faced execution, but all dictators and rulers should face justice as well. "I am ready," he said, "and you should be ready too." He called for the hanging of everyone who destroyed this country.

The PPP leader emphasized that provincial rights are legitimate, but his objection lies with the faces and characters presenting those demands. He reiterated the emergence of a powerful ruling club of elite figures in Pakistan, encompassing generals, politicians, bureaucrats, media tycoons, and even some religious scholars.

These remarks come after Muhammad Ali Durrani, a former federal minister, openly discussed the hybrid system plaguing Pakistan. He identified the hybrid system as the root problem, tracing its origins back to 1971 under Bhutto, continuing with Zia-ul-Haq's reign, and later with Musharraf. Durrani suggested identifying those truly responsible and taking action against them under Article 6 of the Constitution.
