Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Shafi Jan challenges Rana Sanaullah, stating they will arrive on September 27 and asking anyone with courage to try to stop them.

Information Minister Shafi Jan’s Statement
Shafi Jan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Information Minister, has remarked that Rana Sanaullah perceives May 9 as a significant date in every political struggle. He attributes this to people’s mindset, comparing it to the Model Town and Muridke mentality.
Those claiming another May 9 are being prepared should first account for their own past before pointing fingers at others.
Speaking in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, he asserted:
If anyone wants to open fire on September 27, they should do so, and if anyone intends to disqualify us, they are free to proceed. We will confront them under all circumstances. Our struggle for Imran Khan’s unjust imprisonment and the constitutional and democratic rights of the people will continue, and the September 27 Islamabad march will take place, God willing.
Jan noted that these individuals are repeating their historical mistakes. Accusing them of having links with proscribed organizations, he contrasted their actions with their own past, specifically mentioning their restrictions on Pakhtun citizens entering Punjab during an anti-terrorism operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ordered by then-Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
He emphasized that political leaders and workers have historically faced attacks, arrests, and political imprisonment, with Imran Khan currently unjustly imprisoned in Adiala Jail.
Maryam Nawaz had added salt to the nation’s wounds by absolving Modi of responsibility. Stating that Punjab faces a threat not from the neighboring country but from neighboring provinces not only gives India a clean chit but also openly contradicts the Pakistan Army’s four-year position and the national narrative against Indian aggression. If there is no threat from the enemy, then what?
