Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary-General Salman Akram Raja has stated that the government is unwilling to accept the two demands presented by the party during negotiations.
Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, he explained that the talks have reached an impasse regarding a proposed operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and a demand to declare a 72-hour emergency in certain areas of the province.
Raja emphasized the importance of including Imran Khan in any further dialogue, stating that no decisions could be made without his involvement. He viewed previous meetings as initial steps towards improving Pakistan's political landscape.
The PTI leader revealed that two rounds of negotiations have taken place but yielded no results. He outlined the party's two main demands: a meeting with Imran Khan and the declaration of an emergency in specific areas. The PTI, he stressed, will not proceed without consulting Khan.
