We Want Imran Khan's Release Through Courts, But Al-Qadir Trust Case Delayed for 22 Months, Says Shafqat Ayaz

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shafqat Ayaz has stated their intention to take to the streets on September 27 for justice and the rule of law. He expressed concern over the prolonged delay in hearing Imran Khan's Al-Qadir Trust case, which has not been taken up for 22 months, and the Toshakhana case, which hasn't seen any progress for a year.
Ayaz questioned: "Who will uphold the writ of the courts?" He highlighted the PTI's demand for Imran Khan's release through legal means. Additionally, he drew attention to the economic challenges, citing the government's claim that $100 billion has left the country through money laundering and their request for a $10 billion loan from the United States to manage the economy.
The leader further criticized the government's budget practices, asserting that an elected party should be in power to make decisions for the public interest.
