Officials revealed that the event was relocated due to logistical issues and to guarantee the participation of all top regional teams.

LAHORE: The third T20 Wheelchair Cricket Asia Cup has been moved from Pakistan to a neutral venue. This decision was mutually agreed upon during a meeting between the International Council of Wheelchair Cricket (ICWC) and the Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Council (PWCC).

The PWCC has ceded hosting rights for the Asia Cup to the ICWC. The original plans, which called for the event to be held in Karachi and Hyderabad from September 29th, have been postponed twice already.

According to sources, the venue and dates will be officially announced at a later meeting, along with details about the six participating teams.

The ICWC will retain hosting rights for the World Series and bilateral series in Pakistan.
