DUBAI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – August 29, 2026) In the presence of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Abeer AlRamahi, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the UAE, the "Emirates Loves Palestine" page hosted its inaugural community event celebrating the Palestinian community within the UAE.
The event, held at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City, Dubai, was organised in partnership with the UAE-Palestinian Friendship Club and the Palestinian Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. It drew over 50,000 attendees from the Palestinian community, Emirati residents, and expatriates, creating a vibrant atmosphere that celebrated Palestinian culture, heritage, and the strong bonds between Emiratis and Palestinians.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak stated:
"It brings me immense joy to be here at this wonderful fraternal gathering, which represents the largest assembly of the Palestinian community globally, vividly showcasing the sincere affection the United Arab Emirates holds for Palestine and its people."
He further added:
"In this event, expressing the UAE’s love for Palestine, we convey a message of unwavering support. The ‘UAE Loves Palestine’ event embodies the UAE’s commitment to promoting tolerance, coexistence, and cultural openness, as well as fostering an inclusive community for all residents. For decades, the UAE has welcomed the Palestinian community, contributing significantly to its development across various sectors."
"The UAE has consistently stood by Palestine, dedicating humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people," he affirmed. "The UAE remains steadfastly committed to prioritizing relief for Palestinians and supporting them on various fronts through diplomatic and humanitarian initiatives."
He concluded:
"The UAE is the largest provider of humanitarian aid to Gaza, setting a remarkable example of solidarity and mutual assistance, reflecting its enduring commitment to standing by the Palestinian people."
