4 Injured in Head-on Collision Between Rickshaw and Double-cab
Four persons were injured, two of them critically, in a head-on collision between a pick-up truck and a rickshaw on the Autobahn road in Hyderabad on Saturday afternoon. According to police reports, the rickshaw was violating one-way traffic outside an eatery when it collided with the double-cab bearing registration number SC-0454.
The impact of the collision destroyed the front end of the rickshaw and damaged the bonnet, headlight, and grill of the double-cab. The injured, identified as 39-year-old Tariq and 18-year-old Mairaj, were rushed to Government Bhitai Hospital in Latifabad for treatment.
Local residents expressed frustration over the rising number of traffic violations, particularly on the wide Autobahn road, which they claim has become a hotspot for commercial activities despite strict rules.
