A Four-day Anti-polio Campaign In Murree Begins

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Enforcement) Malik Rashid Nemat launched the four-day anti-polio drive across Murree district on Monday by administering vaccine drops to children at Tehsil Headquarter (THQ) Hospital.
The ceremony included Chief Executive Officer Health Murree Dr. Azhar Mahmood Abbasi, Deputy District Officer Health Dr. Maryam Ali Abbasi, and THQ Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Awais Alam.
The immunization campaign will run: from September 21 to September 24, targeting all children aged up to five years.
Addressing the event, Malik Rashid Nemat emphasized polio eradication as a shared national responsibility and urged parents to vaccinate their children for their well-being. He praised front-line vaccinators navigating challenging mountain terrain and appealed for local community cooperation with field teams for complete coverage.
