IHC Cancels Cause Lists Of CJ, Justice Muhammad Asif Due To Judges' Unavailability
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Sep, 2026) The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday cancelled the cause list for cases fixed before Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar, while the cause lists of Justice Muhammad Asif for September 21 and 22 were also cancelled due to the unavailability of both judges.
Several important cases, including petitions seeking a judicial inquiry into the fire incident at PIMS Hospital and a challenge to additional toll tax collection on non-M-Tag vehicles, were scheduled for hearing before the Chief Justice on Monday.
Meanwhile, the cause list for cases fixed before Justice Muhammad Asif was also cancelled. The Registrar’s Office will re-fix all cases relisted following the cancellation of the cause lists.
