Auto Policy Committee holds detailed review of draft
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Sep, 2026) A four-and-a-half-hour meeting of the committee on Auto and Auto Parts Manufacturing Policy 2026-31 was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar. Federal Minister for Climate Change Dr Musadik Masood Malik and representatives of relevant ministries and departments attended.
The meeting engaged in an in-depth discussion on the draft Auto and Auto Parts Manufacturing Policy 2026-31 and conducted a thorough review of various policy provisions. They addressed concerns raised by diverse ministries and institutions regarding different clauses, and consultations took place with these concerned entities. The committee considered suggestions and proposals from relevant institutions to ensure the Auto Policy is both practical and effective.
The gathering agreed to continue examining the remaining draft policy provisions in a subsequent meeting. This will allow for a comprehensive review and consultation process before finalizing the Auto and Auto Parts Manufacturing Policy 2026-31.
