AC Orders Accelerated Work To Ensure Early Completion Of Flyovers In DIKhan
Dera Ismail Khan, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd Aug, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Dr. Muhammad Hamid Siddiq, along with Executive Engineer C&W Highways, on Saturday inspected the under-construction flyovers at Old Sabzi Mandi and Tank Adda. They reviewed the progress, quality, and pace of ongoing development work.
During the visit, officials briefed Dr. Siddiq about construction stages, progress made, and current work at project sites. He examined construction work, material quality, and overall progress, directing authorities to level service roads with a grinder for safe public passage.
Expressing concern over inadequate safety protocol implementation, he instructed relevant authorities to ensure contractor compliance with all measures. He emphasized the priority of worker and public safety during construction.
The Assistant Commissioner expressed displeasure with the slow pace at Old Sabzi Mandi, directing contractors to accelerate activities and complete the project swiftly. He also ordered regular progress monitoring and effective contractor supervision.
Dr. Hamid Siddiq stated that timely project completion is a district administration priority while maintaining quality, durability, and worker/public safety without compromise.
