Administrator directs to utilize resources for Quetta beautification
Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC) Administrator Bashir Ahmed Bareach has directed concerned officers to harness all available resources for cleanliness and beautification of Quetta city. He made this announcement while presiding over a meeting at the Metropolitan Office on August 28, 2026.
According to a press release, Administrator Bashir Ahmed Bareach emphasized that officers posted in different areas of the city will bear personal responsibility for the beauty, cleanliness, and overall enhancement of their respective zones. He also stated that each officer will be accountable for monitoring and ensuring timely completion of beautification initiatives within their assigned areas.
"Practical steps are being taken to make Quetta city clean, beautiful, and provide a better environment for its citizens," he said. Special focus will be given to improving internal roads, important intersections, green spaces, and other public areas within the city.
The Administrator urged officers to maintain quality and transparency in beautification projects and regularly monitor progress in their respective areas. He sternly warned that negligence regarding city beautification and cleanliness would not be tolerated.
