Agreement Signed Between First Charity Hospital Of Larkana And Pakistan Internal Society Medicine

LARKANA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th Aug, 2026) An agreement was signed between Jijel Amman Welfare Hospital Larkana, the first welfare hospital established in Larkana, and the Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine (PSIM).
Under the agreement, an APCA Welfare Clinic was inaugurated at Jijel Amman Welfare Hospital Larkana by former MPA Moazzam Ali Abbasi, who formally opened the clinic by cutting the ribbon. Following the inauguration, a cake-cutting ceremony was also held to commemorate Pakistan’s Independence Day. The ceremony was attended by leading figures from the field of Internal Medicine, including Professor Hakim Ali Abro, Professor Bashir Ahmed Shaikh, Professor Koromal, Professor Mumtaz Ali Chhutto, Dr. Kamlesh Kumar and Professor Sultan Ahmed Chandio. Representing the Core Committee of Jijel Amman Welfare Hospital, Professor Sher Muhammad Shaikh, Professor Saleem Ahmed Shaikh, Ghulam Murtaza Shaikh, Saeed Ahmed Shaikh and Saifullah were also present.
The agreement was formally signed by Professor Saleem Shaikh and Professor Hakim Ali Abro.
Speaking on the occasion, former MPA Moazzam Ali Abbasi said that the establishment of Jijel Amman Welfare Hospital is aimed at serving the people with sincerity and a spirit of public welfare.
Professor Hakim Ali Abro said that the Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine is launching a free clinic to provide medical treatment to underprivileged and deserving people without any discrimination. He said the initiative would help ensure access to quality healthcare for those who are unable to afford medical treatment.
