Al Ain Thrash Al Nassr 4-0 in AFC Champions League Elite Opener
Al Ain secured a dominant 4-0 victory against Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Tuesday, marking the opening round of the AFC Champions League Elite league stage.
El Hassan Rahimi led the scoring with a double in the 25th and 63rd minutes, followed by Soufiane Rahimi’s goal in the 72nd minute. Giorgos Giakoumakis added the final touch in the 85th minute, solidifying Al Ain’s first three points of the campaign.
This victory holds significant importance as Soufiane Rahimi became Al Ain’s all-time leading scorer in the AFC Champions League with an impressive 19 goals.
