The Anti-Corruption Department arrested a tehsil manager of the Suthra Punjab program on charges of financial corruption and embezzlement. According to a spokesperson, Faisal Niaz was apprehended following a preliminary investigation that proved his involvement in issuing illegal payments to ghost employees. The department registered a case against the suspect and shifted him to the lock-up after his arrest.
Further investigation is underway.
