Bhatti: 3-storey Underground Parking To Be Built On 22 Kanals
LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - August 21, 2026) The most expensive underground parking project in the history of Lahore is going to be part of the Data Darbar Upgradation Project.
Under the project, a three-storey underground parking will be constructed, accommodating approximately 549 vehicles and 1,640 motorcycles, according to TEPA official sources. The total estimated cost of the project exceeds 8 billion rupees. This amount includes land acquisition costs and construction expenses. Land acquisition considerations involve structural assessments, business loss, and disturbance allowances.
TEPA has prepared a proposal for underground parking between Data Darbar and Bhati Chowk and submitted it to the Chief Minister of Punjab for approval. The summary seeks approval to present the project before the provincial cabinet and include it in the annual development program for fiscal year 2026-27.
