Canada Applies to Join UK-led Joint Expeditionary Force
Canada has formally applied to become a part of the UK-led Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF), according to the Office of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, announced on Wednesday.
The JEF is a military partnership consisting of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The Canadian government welcomes the UK's support for its participation in this initiative as it seeks to expand its defense collaborations.
