China-Pakistan-Africa Industrial Cooperation Can Unlock New Trade, Investment Opportunities: Feng Qiang
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – September 15, 2026) President of the Shenzhen Government Procurement Association and Chairman of the Industrial Globalization Alliance, Feng Qiang, has called for stronger digital connectivity and industrial cooperation among China, Pakistan, and Africa. He believes these regions possess complementary resources, markets, and industrial capabilities that can foster new opportunities for trade, investment, employment, and sustainable development.
Addressing a ceremony at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Capital House in Islamabad, Feng Qiang highlighted the potential of Shenzhen in international economic cooperation. He proposed building a practical triangular cooperation framework by linking industrial capacity, investment opportunities, procurement demand, and regional markets between Pakistan, China, and African countries.
The President expressed his appreciation for the vision of Ambassador Hamid Asghar Khan, Patron-in-Chief of the Pakistan Africa Economic Council, in promoting economic and commercial linkages between these regions. He also praised Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of FPCCI, for organizing the event and supporting initiatives aimed at integrating emerging economies.
Feng Qiang noted that Pakistan’s Uraan Pakistan Economic Transformation Plan focuses on export growth and digital development, while Africa’s Agenda 2063 and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) provide frameworks for industrialization, regional integration, and market expansion.
He emphasized China’s commitment to high-standard opening-up, promoting high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and enhancing services for overseas companies. Feng Qiang argued that these strategies offer ample opportunities for cooperation, as China’s industrial capabilities, technology, and market demand can complement Pakistan and African countries’ resources, priorities, and potential markets.

Regarding the iGlobal Platform, Feng Qiang mentioned that his organization is developing it as a digital and intelligent international cooperation platform focused on real industrial demand. The platform aims to connect Chinese companies, overseas buyers, and investors.
