Chiniot Celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) With Religious Zeal; 33 Processions Taken Out
Chiniot district celebrated the 1501st birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) with immense devotion and reverence. Thousands of devotees participated in processions and Milad gatherings held across the three tehsils of Chiniot, Bhowana, and Lalian.
Central Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Procession
The 88th central Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) procession, organized by Anjuman Raza-e-Mustafa Chiniot, began at the Central Jamia Mosque Khokhranwali and wound its way through Muslim Bazaar, Shahi Mandi, Chowk Shaheed, and various other routes before concluding at Milad Chowk. The city was adorned with green flags, banners, and lights, while participants recited Durood and Salam, greeting the Prophet with "Marhaba Ya Mustafa (PBUH)."
Additional Processions
Large processions were also organized by Dawat-e-Islami from Faizan-e-Madina on Salara Road and Anjuman Farogh-e-Milad Mustafa from Tibba Loharan, Muslim Bazaar. The central procession was led by renowned religious scholars and representatives from various Jamaats, including Maulana Naeemuddin, Pir Syed Muhammad Tahir Shah, and Muhammad Habib Qadri.
Security Arrangements
The district administration reported that a total of 33 processions and seven Milad gatherings were held, with elaborate security measures in place. Over 500 police officers and personnel were deployed, implementing a four-layer security system featuring advanced technologies and strategic placement of security forces.
Rescue 1122 Chiniot's Special Duty Plan
Rescue 1122 Chiniot also prepared a special duty plan for 13 major processions, ensuring emergency response teams were on high alert to manage any potential incidents.
