CM’s Aide Reviews Standard of Services Being Provided to People

Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Social Welfare, Special Education and Women Empowerment, Malak Liaqat Ali Khan on Saturday visited Lower Dir to review services being provided to people.

He was accompanied by Director Social Welfare KP, Muhammad Saleh and concerned officials. The purpose of the visit was to assess services related to social welfare, special education, women’s protection, rehabilitation, and child protection, while identifying ways to overcome challenges.

CM aide visited the District Social Welfare Office and various field formations, holding meetings with departmental officers, staff, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders. He visited Dar-ul-Aman, Centre for Children with Mental and Physical Disabilities, Social Services Medical Centre, and Mental Health & GBV Desk.

He received a briefing on the services provided by the department in the district, ongoing initiatives, future plans, and existing issues and challenges.

Khan said that the provincial government was committed to improving the welfare of vulnerable and underprivileged communities. He emphasized ensuring quality and accessible social welfare services for people in remote areas as a top priority.

CM advisor announced the upgrade of a primary school for persons with disabilities in Lower Chitral to middle level, enabling access to further educational facilities locally. He also announced the establishment of Social Welfare Complex in Lower Chitra.
