The meeting reviewed progress on implementation of the programme, the status of allotted plots, and cases pending on the programme’s digital portal.
Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia directed the authorities to achieve the prescribed targets of the “Apna Khet, Apna Rozgar” programme in all three districts of the division and immediately complete the portal process for individuals who had already been allotted land. He stressed that there should be no unnecessary delay in handing over possession of land to eligible beneficiaries and directed the concerned authorities to accelerate the process of completing possession formalities for all allotted plots across the division.
The commissioner directed the authorities to expedite work on all pending cases, including 104 plots in Rahim Yar Khan, and complete the possession process for allotted plots in Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar at the earliest. He stated that if the number of eligible beneficiaries was low in any tehsil or area, the concerned individuals should be called to the offices of the Assistant Commissioners so that the required portal formalities could be completed without delay and the prescribed targets achieved on time.
Commissioner Kathia directed the authorities to clearly identify obstacles delaying all pending cases, including those in Hasilpur. He directed that all stages of the programme be processed through the prescribed digital mechanism, with required information and documents uploaded to the portal in a timely manner. He also called for expediting the scrutiny of pending applications and the possession verification process.
The commissioner further directed officials to immediately report any login or portal-related technical issue to the relevant technical team.
