Court Sentences Man to Death for Killing Mother

PESHAWAR, (APP) – A sessions court on Tuesday sentenced accused Imtiaz to death for murdering his mother following a domestic dispute. Additional Sessions Judge Rafiullah delivered the verdict after hearing arguments from both sides.
According to the prosecution, Imtiaz, along with his accomplice Tahir, stabbed their mother to death after she refused to give them money. The incident occurred on August 1, 2023, within the jurisdiction of Inqilab Police Station.
The court sentenced Imtiaz to death while declaring co-accused Tahir a proclaimed offender for remaining absconding and issuing arrest warrants against him.
