(October 06, 2026, 06:10 PM) RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) - Additional District and Sessions Judge Rawalpindi has sentenced convict Sanaullah to death after completing the trial in a murder case registered at Ratta Amral Police Station.
The judge also directed him to pay Rs 1 million in compensation to the victim's legal heirs, stating that in case of non-payment, the amount shall be recovered through attachment and sale of his property.
According to details, the police had registered the murder case on the complaint of the victim’s cousin, who stated that Sanaullah fatally stabbed Ahmad Raza following a minor verbal argument.
Judge Afshan Ijaz Sufi delivered the final verdict upon trial completion, ordering the death penalty.
