PTI Has Exposed Its Own Failures Through Its Performance: Dr Shezra Mansab
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Oct, 2026) Minister of State for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr Shezra Mansab Ali Khan Kharal, on Tuesday strongly criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over its performance during its tenure in government, stating that the party has exposed its own political and policy failures through its actions, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
While speaking to state TV, she stated that PTI has been in power in KP for many years and questioned what the party has accomplished for the province's development and to address terrorism and law-and-order challenges. She alleged that PTI’s political narrative has favored militant groups while failing to clearly condemn attacks.
The Federal government, she claimed, had repeatedly attempted to establish a clear policy toward terrorism, but alleged that PTI had instead created confusion by pursuing a separate political narrative. She maintained that political parties should resolve differences through dialogue.
Dr Shezra further criticized PTI’s ongoing long march, saying the party itself appeared unclear about its objectives. “Beyond allegations, incorrect statements, and provocative slogans, they have nothing to offer,” she said, accusing PTI of exposing divisions within its own leadership and damaging the party through failed policies.
