CPO Orders Enhanced Security Measures For Chinese Nationals - UrduPoint

City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain has ordered intensified and foolproof security arrangements for Chinese nationals in the Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development & Management Company (FIEDMC) area. He directed police and all relevant institutions to:
- Maintain close coordination
- Strengthen surveillance
- Ensure daily checking of surrounding areas
The CPO issued these directions during a visit to the FIEDMC area, where he reviewed security arrangements for Chinese citizens. A meeting was also chaired by him, with the presence of SP Madina Town Division Azhar Javed, DSP Nishatabad Nadeem Iqbal, SHO FIEDMC police station, and other police officers.
SP Madina Town Division Azhar Javed provided a detailed briefing on security arrangements for Chinese nationals, designated duty points, and the overall security mechanism in the area.
CPO Tanveer Hussain instructed officers to:
- Ensure the availability and effective functioning of security cameras, monitoring systems, and other protective arrangements.
- Strengthen security deployment in the FIEDMC area.
- Tolerate no negligence or lapse in Chinese security duties.
He directed all relevant departments and institutions to ensure close coordination regarding the movement and security of Chinese citizens for timely and coordinated implementation of security measures. Daily comprehensive checking and search operations in surrounding areas were also ordered, with a focus on strategic pickets and enhanced police presence in and around FIEDMC.
The CPO emphasized that protection of foreign nationals and provision of a peaceful and secure environment are top priorities for Faisalabad Police, utilizing all available resources to maintain effective security arrangements. He stressed field-level monitoring of security duties, with officers ensuring the prescribed security mechanism is implemented in letter and spirit.
