Culture Minister Assures Early Restoration Of Arts Council Hyd
HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st Aug, 2026) The Sindh Culture and Tourism Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah has announced that the Arts Council Hyderabad will undergo complete restoration to make the facility functional and provide a space for citizens to organize literary, musical, and cultural events.
During a meeting held here on Friday, the minister emphasized the significance of the facility and the urgency of rehabilitating it at the earliest. He expressed hope that the newly elected office bearers and members of the council would contribute to the council’s growth. Shah stated that the provincial government has been supporting artists through various means, and once operational, the arts council will offer a platform for creative expression.
The Commissioner of Hyderabad, Fayaz Abbassi, along with officers from the Culture Department, attended the meeting.
