DC Reviews Free Dialysis Services At Hilal-e-Ahmar Maternity Hospital

FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd Aug, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Nauman Siddiq visited the Hilal-e-Ahmar Maternity Hospital and personally reviewed the free dialysis services, stressing that quality healthcare and timely treatment must remain central to service delivery at public and welfare medical facilities.
During his visit to the hospital’s Dialysis Center, he met patients undergoing treatment and inquired about their health and medical facilities available to them. He conducted a detailed review of the healthcare facilities available at the Dialysis Center, treatment arrangements, and the overall standard of service delivery. He also interacted with patients to obtain direct feedback about their treatment and the quality of medical care being provided to them.
He reviewed the standard of free treatment and other medical facilities at the center and directed the relevant authorities to ensure that patients received quality healthcare services without unnecessary delays or inconvenience. He said that patients requiring dialysis were particularly dependent on uninterrupted and timely medical care, therefore, all necessary arrangements should be maintained to ensure smooth service delivery.
He also stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness, proper treatment arrangements, and an efficient system for dealing with patients at welfare and public healthcare facilities. He stated that provision of better healthcare facilities to patients and maintaining high standards of service delivery at government and welfare-run medical centers were among top priorities of the district administration.
He directed hospital authorities to remain attentive to patients’ needs and ensure that available medical resources were utilized effectively for their benefit. He noted that direct interaction with patients was important for assessing the actual quality of healthcare services and identifying areas requiring improvement. He assured that the district administration would continue to monitor service delivery at healthcare facilities to ensure that patients received the care and facilities they were entitled to.
Briefing the deputy commissioner, Medical Superintendent Hilal-e-Ahmar Hospital Mukhtar Randhawa said that Dialysis Center was providing dialysis facilities completely free of cost.
