DPM Stresses Simple and Accessible Registration for PM’s Fuel Relief Scheme
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Sep, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, on Tuesday emphasized the need for a straightforward and easily accessible registration process for the PM’s Fuel Relief Scheme to maximize benefits for intended beneficiaries.
The deputy prime minister chaired a meeting on administrative follow-up of the scheme, directing all relevant parties to ensure effective public outreach and smooth implementation at petrol stations. In line with the Prime Minister’s directives, DPM/FM urged elected representatives to share information about the Scheme and facilitate registrations. He also directed that volunteers from the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme be engaged in public outreach and registration efforts.
The meeting was informed that the scheme would launch nationwide at 11:59 p.m. on 16 September 2026.
