Dubai Future District Fund (DFDF) has announced a commitment to a global growth fund managed by Nordstar Partners (Nordstar), a UK-headquartered investment manager specializing in AI, FinTech, and consumer technology.

This commitment highlights DFDF’s focus on supporting regional companies between Series A and Series C, as they transition from early traction to operational scale.

Led by Managing Partners Eugen Miropolski and Ole Ruch, Nordstar draws on their extensive experience in hyper-growth environments having held senior roles at companies like Groupon, Airbnb, and WeWork.

"The scale-up gap is a significant funding challenge, and it’s not solely addressed by capital," stated Nader Albastaki, Managing Director of Dubai Future District Fund. "Nordstar's unique value lies in their practical experience in scaling businesses, not just financial modeling."

Ole Ruch, Managing Partner at Nordstar, added: "We started Nordstar to share our learnings with founders who have developed promising products and services. Our collaboration with DFDF will enable us to support UAE-based companies expanding internationally by providing access to our operator network and market entry expertise."

Nordstar has a track record of investments in the Middle East, including Kitopi and Silkhaus. This new partnership aims to foster mentorship, market access, and scaling expertise for regional startups looking to grow beyond their home markets.
