Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Arrangements Reviewed in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 18, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Gujrat, Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi, chaired a meeting of the District Peace Committee to review arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.

According to an official source, the meeting reviewed security, cleanliness, lighting, and other arrangements along the routes of processions and religious programmes. The deputy commissioner stated that special arrangements were being made in accordance with the directions of the Punjab government to ensure peaceful celebrations.

Representatives of different schools of thought expressed their resolve to promote peace, tolerance, love, and brotherhood during the celebrations.

Security In-charge Muhammad Amjad briefed the meeting on security arrangements, procession routes, and deployment of personnel. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services, Qurat-ul-Ain, Assistant Commissioner Kharian Ahmad Sher Gondal, and members of the District Peace Committee.
