Factory Making Bakery Items Catches Fire

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Sep, 2026) A factory making bakery items like bread and rusks caught fire here on Thursday but luckily all the factory workers were timely pulled out by a team of Rescue 1122.

A spokesperson for Rescue 1122, Dilbar Halepto, informed that the factory, named Dawn, located in the SITE area along Tando Muhammad Khan road, caught fire from its oven. He added that the rescue team swiftly pulled out several workers who had become trapped in the factory's kitchen.

The firemen utilized smoke ejectors to ventilate the thick smoke that had accumulated inside the building. Dawn's manager, Muhammad Qasim, told police that a significant amount of their food stock along with other machinery and utensils were damaged in the incident. He noted that an exact assessment of losses would be made later.
