Family tribute to 'devoted' mum and 'precious' children who died in fire
BBC News reports on a devastating fire in Bootle, Merseyside, where Elisha Brabin, 36, and her children—Leo, 16, Ellis, 8, and Prudence, 7—lost their lives.
The family of a mother and three children who died in a house fire have said they are experiencing an "unimaginable" loss.
In a heartfelt statement, the family expressed:
"Elisha was our beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, auntie, niece, and cousin. She was a devoted and loving mother who lived for her children. They were her whole world, and she meant everything to us."
They continued, remembering their "beautiful babies," who "brought so much joy, happiness, and love to our family."
"The tragic loss of Elisha and our three precious children has left us heartbroken. They have all been taken from us far too soon. The impact on our family will be felt forever."
The statement concluded with a request for privacy during their grief while thanking the community for its support.
Neighbours and friends, including Rachel, who grew up near Elisha, shared their sadness over the loss:
"She made her children happy, she did everything for her children."
Another neighbour, Loti Nambombe, organized a fundraising page to assist the family. Over £5,000 was raised by Wednesday.
Nambombe praised the community bond in Bootle and the efforts of neighbours who rushed to help during the fire.
