Five Cops Injured In Hand Grenade Attack On Police Post In Mohmand
PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 23, 2026) A police post in Dab Chowk area of Tehsil Ambar in Mohmand district on Sunday came under a hand grenade attack by unidentified assailants, leaving five police personnel slightly injured.
According to police, the attackers targeted the Dab Chowk police post with a hand grenade. However, the assailants fled the scene following timely retaliatory action by the police. The five injured officials were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Police said all of them were out of danger.
Following the incident, police and security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace and apprehend the attackers.
