Four Stone Crushing Units Sealed for Environmental Violations
SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) The Environment Protection Department sealed four stone crushing units and imposed a fine of Rs1 million on each for violating environmental regulations during an anti-smog operation in Sargodha.
The action was taken on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry under the supervision of Deputy Director Environment Muhammad Rana in Chak No. 116 SB.
The sealed units included:
- Abdul Qadeer Khan Niazi Stone Crushing Plant
- Narowal Stone Crusher
- Huzaifa Stone Crusher
- Shaheen Stone Crushing Plant.
Deputy Director Environment Muhammad Rana stated that industrial and commercial units were being continuously monitored to control smog and air pollution. He assured that indiscriminate action would continue against violators and that environmental laws violations would not be tolerated. He added that all possible legal measures were being taken to prevent smog and provide citizens with a clean and healthy environment.
