FUUAST Holds First Alumni Gathering, Announces Formation Of Alumni Association
Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) hosted its first Alumni Gathering and Dinner to honor its former students, bringing together alumni, faculty members, Senate members, and distinguished guests. The ceremony was presided over by Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari, with renowned businessman and Senate member Saeedullah Wala and Senate member and former Vice Chancellor of NED University, Professor Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodi, attending as guests of honor. The event was moderated by Adviser Student Affairs, Dr. Saadia Khalil.
Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari announced the establishment of an Alumni Association to provide a structured platform for former students, with chapters planned for different campuses. He encouraged alumni to contribute to the university’s development not only through financial support but also by sharing their time, experience, professional expertise, and networks with the university and its current students. He noted that successful alumni can guide students in their practical careers, businesses, technology, sports, research, and other fields.
