RPO Suhail Akhtar Sukhera dismissed a police inspector from service for misbehaving and using indecent language with a woman, here in Faisalabad on Friday, 21st August, 2026.
He held an open court at his office and listened to complaints from citizens, especially women. During the court, a woman complained against SHO Gojra Saddar police Inspector Mohsin Muneer Basra for misbehaving and using immoral language.
The RPO took serious notice of the complaint and after a proper inquiry, dismissed the inspector who was also present in the open court.
He emphasized a zero-tolerance policy for protecting women and providing them timely justice, in line with the instructions of Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif. He directed police officers to respect citizens, especially women, stating that abuse, harassment, and immoral behavior will not be tolerated.
He also confirmed that ensuring a safe and peaceful environment for women is the top priority of the police department.
