Government Raises Petroleum Product Prices Again Today

Petrol has become Rs4.10 more expensive per litre and diesel Rs6.41 more, with a notification issued.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Sep, 2026) OGRA has once again announced a major increase in petroleum product prices. According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs4.10 per litre and diesel by Rs6.41 per litre.
The new price of petrol has been set at Rs384.34 per litre, while diesel will cost Rs415.83 per litre. The new prices will take effect from midnight tonight.
Meanwhile, weekly declines have been recorded in the country’s oil and gas production.
According to PPIS and industry data, average daily crude oil production during the week ending 8 September stood at 67,684 barrels, down 1% from the previous week, when average daily production was recorded at 68,797 barrels. Similarly, average daily gas production during the week ending 8 September stood at 3,008 MMCFD, down 3% from the previous week’s 3,088 MMCFD.
The data shows:
- OGDCL’s average daily crude oil production was 33,657 barrels and gas production was 636 MMCFD.
- PPL’s average daily crude oil production was 12,396 barrels and gas production was 597 MMCFD.
- POIL’s average daily crude oil production was 4,079 barrels and gas production was 49 MMCFD.
- Mari Petroleum’s average daily crude oil production was 1,076 barrels and gas production was 867 MMCFD.
