IGP Rizvi Pushes Transparent Recruitment and Citizen-Centric Policing to Raise Service Standards

ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd Aug, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Sunday chaired an important meeting with DIG Headquarters, DIG Law and Order, and other senior officers. During the meeting, he directed them to adopt modern, transparent, and citizen-centric measures in recruitment and public service delivery.

An official stated that the gathering reviewed ongoing and upcoming recruitment processes, public-friendly initiatives, and steps aimed at further enhancing services for citizens (as per a press release).
