IGP Sohail Visits Families of Police Martyrs and Injured Officer
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Sep, 2026) Inspector General of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry on Wednesday visited the homes of police martyrs and an injured officer, assuring their families of continued support and welfare.
An official told APP that the IGP Sohail met the families of martyred ASI Mohsin Zafar, Constable Saif Ali Shah, who died during service, and Ghazi Constable Muhammad Hanif, who was injured in the line of duty.
Sohail paid tribute to the sacrifices of police martyrs, spent time with their children, and distributed gifts among them. He expressed that police martyrs are our heroes and their sacrifices will always be remembered.
He stated that it is the responsibility of Islamabad Police to respect and look after the families of martyrs, adding that their welfare and timely resolution of problems would remain a priority. Sohail also met Constable Muhammad Hanif, inquired about his health, and appreciated his services to the police department.
The IGP directed concerned officers to ensure all possible assistance to the families of police martyrs and injured personnel and address their problems without delay.
