Independence Day Ceremony Held at Rotary Club Sargodha
A ceremony was held at Rotary Club Sargodha to celebrate Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day, with Superintendent Police Investigation Imran Abbas Chadhar and Lieutenant Colonel Maimoona Usmani serving as chief guests.

Deputy Director National Commission for Human Development Sargodha Mehr Umar Daraz Jhawari, Rotary Club Sargodha President Mukhtar Ahmad Mirza, Secretary Khawaja Bilal Razzaq, and other distinguished guests also attended.
Participants praised SP Investigation Sargodha Imran Abbas Chadhar for his awareness campaigns about thalassemia and support for patients, describing his efforts as a positive societal example. They commended his dedication to helping those with thalassemia and their families.
Lieutenant Colonel Maimoona Usmani emphasized the importance of Independence Day as a day to renew national pledges. She urged citizens to uphold values like honesty, integrity, truthfulness, and patriotism at all levels and work towards eliminating contradictions between words and actions. She also highlighted the need to contribute to Pakistan’s security, progress, prosperity, and stability.
The ceremony featured a flag-hoisting, cutting of an Independence Day cake, and various activities showcasing patriotic spirit. Participants offered special prayers for Pakistan’s well-being.
