Intellectuals, Poets Pay Tribute to Shamshir-ul-Haidri
Intellectuals, poets, and writers gathered in Hyderabad on Sunday for a Literary session to honor the renowned poet, Shamshir-ul Haidri. The event, hosted by Bazm-e-Rooh Rihan, was held at the office of Anjuman Tajran Sindh Qasimabad.
A Life Dedicated to Literature
Professor Ashraf Sami, the chief guest, highlighted Shamshir-ul-Haidri’s versatility as a writer, contributing to radio, television, newspapers, magazines, plays, and serving as an editor across various platforms.
The session featured performances by:
- Salim Chana (a short sketch)
- Talib Bhanbharo (reciting a ghazal)
- Khair Muhammad Ashiq Solangi (singing a poem)
- Abd Magsi (reciting a poem)
- Bhiju Faqir (reciting Vai)
- Mehboob Abro, Ehsaas Merel, Nizamuddin Kaka, Faqir Dost Muhammad, and Dayach Latif Solangi.
