Iranian Team Arrives in Islamabad for Joint Kabaddi Training Camp and Friendly Matches
The Iranian team has arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan, to participate in a Joint Kabaddi Training Camp and Friendly Kabaddi Matches with the Pakistan National Kabaddi Camp trainees/team. This event is part of their preparations for the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, scheduled for 2026.
Organized under the guidance of Ch. Shafay Hussain, Chairman of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation, and Ch. Salik Hussain, President of the same federation, the camp will commence on August 20, 2026, in the evening. The Friendly Kabaddi Matches will take place from August 24 to 26 at 7 pm at Hamidi Hall in the Pakistan Sports Complex.
This sporting event holds significant bilateral importance, aiming to strengthen relations and promote friendship between Pakistan and Iran. It will provide both kabaddi teams with valuable preparation and competitive exposure, fostering cooperation and mutual respect.
