IRSA Releases 256,600 Cusecs Water

Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Sunday released 256,600 cusecs of water from various rim stations with an inflow of 267,700 cusecs.
According to IRSA data:
- The water level in the River Indus at Tarbela Dam stood at 1550.00 feet, 148.00 feet higher than the dead level of 1402.00 feet. Water inflow and outflow were recorded as 164,500 cusecs and 90,000 cusecs, respectively.
- The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1222.05 feet, 172.05 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. Inflow and outflow were recorded as 20,100 cusecs and 9,000 cusecs, respectively.
- Water releases from Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu, and Sukkur were 282,200, 285,100, 176,200, and 85,500 cusecs, respectively.
- From River Kabul, 30,800 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera, and 26,200 cusecs were released from River Chenab at Marala.
