ISPR Summer Internship Programme: Students Visit FC KP North Hqs, Hold Interactive Session With IGFC North
Peshawar (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st Aug, 2026) Students from various universities participating in the ISPR Summer Internship Programme visited the Headquarters of Frontier Corps KP North at Bala Hisar Fort.
On the occasion, an educational and interactive session was held between the students and Inspector General Frontier Corps KP North, Major General Rao Imran Sartaj, according to a FC spokesman statement on Friday.
Visit to Bala Hisar Fort
At the beginning of the visit, the participants paid their respects at the Martyrs’ Memorial, laid a floral wreath, and offered Fateha for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs of the nation.
They also toured various sections of the historic Bala Hisar Fort and learned about the rich history, traditions, and sacrifices of Frontier Corps KP North.
Interactive Session with IG FC KP North
The highlight of the visit was an interactive discussion between the students and IG FC KP North, Major General Rao Imran Sartaj.
Detailed discussions were held on the current security situation, ongoing operations against terrorism, and the importance of civil-military coordination. Major General Sartaj also emphasized the need for cooperation and mutual support between the public and the armed forces.
He advised the youth to combat fake news, false narratives, and negative propaganda mechanisms used by anti-state elements. He urged them to make research and fact-finding a habit to reach the truth, which would contribute to Pakistan’s stability.
