Lahore Police Begins Training Of Volunteers
LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd Aug, 2026) Training of volunteers assigned security duties for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations is underway at District Police Lines, Qila Gujjar Singh.
A special training session was organized for the volunteers under the supervision of SP Headquarters Muhammad Khalid Saeed, with DSP Headquarters Babar Shaukat, Line Officer Ehsan-ul-Haq and other police officers in attendance.
SP Muhammad Khalid Saeed said the volunteers were being trained in the proper procedure for checking participants with metal detectors and walk-through gates. They were also being briefed on effectively performing their security duties during the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations.
He stated that phased, division-wise training was being imparted to the volunteers to ensure more effective security arrangements during the Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations.
