Mayor Calls Meeting To Review Preparedness To Combat Dengue
Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Mayor Kashif Ali Shoro has directed his staff and the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB) to strengthen solid waste disposal and fumigation efforts to curb the spread of dengue.
During a meeting held on Sunday, the mayor emphasized the efficient functioning of Hyderabad Water and Sewerage Corporation’s drainage network and the plugging of all leaks. He sternly warned against any negligence in dengue control initiatives, promising personal oversight of operations across all Town Municipal Corporations (TMCs).
Medical superintendents from public and private hospitals attended, sharing their strategies for prompt treatment of dengue patients.
