MoIAT Launches ‘Factory Forward UAE’ To Accelerate Technology Transformation, Strengthen Industry
The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) today introduced Factory Forward UAE, a national initiative that unifies the country’s industrial technology transformation programmes under one platform. The initiative aims to:
- Strengthen the UAE’s industrial sector.
- Support the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology.
- Accelerate the use of advanced technology in factories.
- Consolidate the UAE’s position as a global center for advanced industry and an attractive destination for investment and partnerships.
By increasing the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) tools across UAE industry, Factory Forward UAE seeks to empower factories:
- To respond more swiftly to change.
- To become more efficient.
- To compete more effectively.
- To foster the growth of high-value national industries.
Key Features and Benefits
The initiative offers holistic support to manufacturers throughout their technology transformation journey, assisting them in:
- Identifying necessary technologies.
- Recognizing improvement opportunities.

The platform integrates various existing programs that have already assisted over 700 factories, including more than 620 through the Industrial Technology Transformation Index (ITTI).

Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, emphasized:
