Motorcyclist Injured During Robbery Bid In Shikarpur
SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Sep, 2026) A man was shot and injured by armed robbers during a robbery attempt near the Wazirabad Gate on the Sukkur-Shikarpur road.
According to reports, the incident occurred when armed men riding a motorcycle allegedly intercepted Jan Muhammad Cholyani near the Wazirabad Gate and attempted to rob him. The victim reportedly offered resistance, upon which the armed suspects opened fire, hitting him and causing serious injuries. The assailants fled the scene on their motorcycle after the incident.
The injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
